Dr. Sloane Signal (PhD)
Research Coach
After more than 20 years in higher education, Sloane knows exactly where doctoral students get stuck. As a chair of doctoral studies, she watched capable students sail through their coursework, then stall when they reached the dissertation, with nobody showing them how to get it moving again. She became a dissertation coach to fix that.
Sloane works especially well with adult learners and working professionals who are juggling a degree alongside everything else. Her approach is to demystify the dissertation process, so you spend less time trying to work out what your program expects and more time producing work you’re proud of.
