She currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist at Western Governors University, where she leads advanced research initiatives and data analytics. Her previous roles include Associate Professor at Howard University, Course Instructor at WGU, and Dissertation Mentor at Capella University. She has also served as a Scientific Instructional Designer and Molecular Biologist at the CDC, contributing to national biosafety training and bioterrorism detection protocols. With a wealth of experience across educational and applied settings, Roblena offers students a rare blend of academic insight and real-world relevance.

Qualifications

Roblena holds a PhD in Public Health (Community Health, Education & Promotion) from Walden University and a BS in Biology from South Carolina State University. Her academic background is further enriched by Harvard University certifications in Business Analytics, Global Health Delivery, and Women in Education Leadership. Roblena’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals across topics from HIV testing to pandemic preparedness, reflecting her deep engagement with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
