Nichole helps students navigate the dissertation journey with clarity and confidence. Drawing on her own experience working with a dissertation coach, she understands the power of personalised support in transforming an overwhelming process into a manageable one.
With a Doctorate in Education from the University of Michigan and over two decades in education, Nichole brings deep insight into what markers expect and how to deliver it. As a Graduate Programme Director, she guides students through complex research questions every day. Her approach is structured and practical, focused on helping you build the skills and confidence you need to get unstuck and finish strong.

Experience
Nichole currently serves as a Professor and Graduate Programme Director in Special Education Administration at Grand Valley State University, where she’s been guiding students since 2022. Before that, she spent over 15 years in school leadership roles, including Director of Special Services and Special Education across multiple districts. She’s also worked as a Technical Assistance Coordinator for Michigan’s Office of Special Education, bringing state-level policy insight to her coaching.
Qualifications
Nichole holds a Doctorate of Education from the University of Michigan, where she completed her dissertation in April 2025. She also earned an Education Specialist degree in Executive Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan, and completed the Michigan State University Education Policy Fellowship Programme.
