Dr. Jason Mixon is an experienced educator, researcher, and dissertation mentor with a remarkable track record in student success. With over 30 years in education, he has chaired over 60 dissertations and served on over 70 committees, guiding students through qualitative and quantitative research.

As a former Assistant Dean, Department Chair, and Director of multiple graduate programs, Jason brings a wealth of experience in leadership, research, and student mentorship. His expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies has led to multiple National Dissertation of the Year Award-winning projects.

Beyond academia, Jason has extensive experience in program development and student engagement, helping to build one of the largest online doctoral programs in the U.S. His hands-on approach ensures that students receive strategic guidance while maintaining full ownership of their research.

Qualifications

Dr. Mixon holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on International Education, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, and a BS in Political Science/History. He holds multiple leadership certifications, including Principal, Superintendent, and teacher credentials. His commitment to student success, combined with decades of experience mentoring researchers, makes him an exceptional coach for students tackling complex dissertation projects.
